QPM Members Portal

Notice to Members

Zero Tolerance Policy

Please be aware that members are expected to follow the beach club rules (posted on the Gulf Harbors Beach Club website:

and behave respectfully towards guards and Board members.  Over the past year, our guards, in particular, have been faced with an increasing number of negative interactions wherein members have resorted to profanity, threatening, and name-calling.

This behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.  The guards are simply doing their job…they are guarding the beach as we have instructed them to do.  Be forewarned that negative, unruly behavior by any member could result in a one-year suspension, based on the severity of the incident, for the entire household, and no refund of dues.  Please be respectful of the rules and the guards.

Also, to avoid unnecessary hassles, always bring your ID to the beach or have a picture of it on your phone! If you want to add your license plate to the plate reader system, please have your car registration with you.

Thank you,

GHBC Board of Directors

(We expect this may come as a surprise to many members, but this behavior has become a serious problem; therefore, in order to ensure the safety of everyone on our beautiful beach, we felt this notice was necessary.)

Gulf Harbors Beach Club Experience

History of the Beach Club

  1. In the early 1970's the beach club as we know it now, was tagged to have hi-rise apartments and a hotel but fortunately, the Lindrick corporation announced there would be no building along the beach, and would become the exclusive private beach for the residents and guests of Gulf Harbors.

  • In 1972 (21) pavilions were contracted along with the gatehouse, bathroom, and retaining walls.

  • In 1977 the gravel parking lot was paved and asphalted.

  • In 1978 several conditions were set in place by the Lindrick corporation for the beach property to be deeded to the Gulf Harbors community.

  1.  A non-profit corporation would be set up, and a board of directors needed to be picked to oversee the day-to-day operations
  2. During a 10-year period, the board of directors had to demonstrate the following:

  • Use the property exclusively for recreation
  •  Maintain the beach property
  •  Financially support the beach and maintain insurance, utilities, and any taxes

  • In 1988, the Lindrick corporation officially signed the deed over to the Gulf Harbors Beach Club Inc. forever giving the Gulf Harbors neighborhood the beautiful private beach we see today.
